Up for your consideration is a very nice Confederate $5 T-33 Note. Printed by Keatinge, & Ball in Richmond, VA. Dated September 2nd 1861. Serial # 4584 hand written in black ink at the top.
Graded and encapsulated by PCGS to be in "VERY FINE 35PPQ " condition. Two cut-cancels were neatly done.
"Keatinge & Ball, Richmond VA" runs from the top left towards the bottom facing out. Printed on plain paper.
This particular example features a nice shade of green, and retains sharp details. Nice signatures and numbering. The paper is still fairly crisp, despite having folds scattered evenly across the paper.
Nearly fully framed, while trimmed just a bit tight. No staining, tears, ink erosion, or major condition issues to mention.
