Up for your consideration is a fully issued State of Florida $50 note from Tallahassee. Dated October 10th 1861, the first year of the Civil War. Plate letter G. Catalog # Cr3. Serial # 4980 hand written twice at the top.
Printed by Hoyer & Ludwig, out of Richmond, Virginia, who printed many other Confederate issues also. This southern issue features Ceres seated in the center. Conservatively encapsulated and graded by PMG to be in "UNCIRCULATED 62" condition, with a comment on the backside reading "Annotation".
Dark printing. No folds. Fully framed. Clean paper with no major stains. No tears. No pinholes. Pencil writing on the backside from a previous owner noting the catalog number.
