A $10 note from the New Orleans Canal & Banking Company. Conservatively graded in CHOICE ABOUT UNCIRCULATED+ condition.
Very nice eye appeal. Looks like it could have been printed yesterday, instead of over 150 years ago. Vivid details. Nice, red color on the backside. Fully framed with a full borderline visible. No folds, tears, stains, hard creases, ink erosion or other major condition issues. The bottom right corner is lightly bent, and there is a very small handling crease at the top margin.
Engraved by Rawdon, Wright, Hatch & Edson, one of the most prominent printing and engraving firms in nineteenth-century America, before merging together with six other firms in 1858 to form The American Bank Note Company.
A high quality, southern states note, that should meet your expectations. Your satisfaction is always guaranteed. |
