A highly desirable $100 note from the State of Mississippi is offered here. Catalog # 1Ac, designating it was dated in 1862 and payable in 1864. Serial number hand written in brown ink at the top right, 3475.

Printed on red fiber paper by the American Bank Note Company. Conservatively graded and encapsulated by PMG to be in "CHOICE UNCIRCULATED 63" condition.

Exceptional Paper Quality. Outstanding eye appeal. Dark printing. The orange color on the front is strong. There is a FULL BORDERLINE visible. Nicely centered. No folds, tears, stains, hard creases, bent corners, or other issues. NO pinholes.

This central design of slaves working in the field was the same used on the 1862 $100 T-41 Confederate notes.

This quality note is worthy of a high grade collection. Already encapsulated by PMG, a company known for very conservative grading.
